Michael Stribling is an artist for Visual Concepts Entertainment, one of the leading studios in the video game industry. Visual Concepts is responsible for the full development and marketing of the critically acclaimed, number-one rated “2K Sports” line of videogames. Over the past 5 years Michael has been part of the NBA Basketball development team. He has created a variety of art assets from player likenesses, to customizable athletic shoes, to special marketing materials. Currently, Michael is focused on early development for a top-secret entertainment (non-sports) title for next-generation game consoles.

Michael has a B.A. in Illustration, from the Savannah College of Art and Design. During and after college he worked in the fields of technical and traditional illustration, graphic design, and mural painting. His interest in 3D art began while he served as art director for a small animation studio in Florida . It was here that he realized the huge potential for CG art, in all commercial and non-commercial art applications. With this in mind, he pursues commercial illustration in his free time. In July, DC Comics will begin featuring Michael's work on the covers of 6 consecutive issues of

“JLA: Classified.”

Michael enjoys life in the San Francisco Bay area, with his wife Loreto and their two little boys, Feyd and Wyatt.
