Storyboard Contest with Matt Haley
High school students will also not want to miss out on a special contest to show off their talent and win lunch with Matt Haley.
Students may submit an eight-cell storyboard to be showcased in a special gallery at VisionFest.
The eight students submitting the very best storyboards will receive a special invitation to attend a free lunch with Matt Haley in Indianapolis on Friday, October 22. This will be their chance to personally pick Matt Haley’s brain on what it’s like being an illustrator and what they should do to break into the biz.
Submission Instructions
Entries must be postmarked on or by October 8. Students must download, print and complete the entry form and submit it with their entry. Submit artwork in hard copy pages no larger than 11” x 17” and mounted on a white matt large enough to allow a 2” border (13” x 19” total maximum mounted size). Entries should also be shrink-wrapped. Entries will be returned.
Winners will be chosen by the faculty of the Media Arts and Science program at the IU School of Informatics at IUPUI, and receive notification by Thursday, October 21.
This contest is open to high school students only.
